De Italiaanse deathmetalband Gory Blister zal door menig metalfan herinnerd worden door het uitstekende Art Bleeds dat alweer uit 1999 stamt. De groep bestaat echter nog steeds en maakt ook nieuwe muziek uit. Voor het label Mighty Music mag Zware Metalen het nummer The Last Call in primeur laten gaan, afkomstig van het op 28 september uitkomende album 19991.Bloodstained:
Het nummer wordt geadverteerd voor fans van Pestilence en Death, maar is in essentie vrij thrashy. De band had het volgende over het nummer te zeggen:
“The new thrashy song by Gory Blister deals with the limits overcome by human race on Earth. Humans are the only beings menacing their own habitat and triggering an evident self-destruction process. The unwise use of nuclear plants is just one of the proofs. The Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters are and will ever be out of control. Humanity is at a point of no return. Planet Earth is making the “Last Call”.”
