Sareetas verlaat Ram-Zet
Na jaren trouwe dienst zal vioolspeelster Sareeta Ram-Zet verlaten. Dit viel te lezen op de Facebook-site van de band.
The Ram-Zet gig at the Inferno will be a special gig for all of us, beeing the last gig with Ram-Zet «featuring» Sareeta. She’s been a full member of this band, from our very first gig 10 years ago, but everything comes to an end, and now it’s time for her to move on.This is a result of a long process going on in Zets mind about the future Ram-Zet sound, and after 10 years and 4 albums with Sareetas violin as an important part of this sound, he came to the conclusion that his new songs, went in a rather different direction. Then, instead of writing violin parts, «only to write violin parts», he decided, after talking to Sareeta, that it was time to end the co-operation, so she can use her skills, and great musicallity with someone else, to move on with her carreer.It’s always a strange feeling, after playing together such a long time, but we’re still very good friends, and she’s joning the band at all live gigs, in February and March, including the Inferno gig 2. April.
