Morbid Angel nieuws
Een paar nieuwtjes van het Morbid Angel-front:
Gitarist Trey Azagthoth heeft serieuze plannen om een plaat te gaan opnemen met The Gathering-zangeres Anneke van Giersbergen.
“I really hope and believe that this dream of mine will come true some day, I’d really like to hear what kind of end result we could come up with when my playing and her beautiful singing are meshed together. I’m sure we could even create a totally new style of music… but let’s see if our schedules coincide and we can find some time to work on some material together.”
Verder heeft drummer Pete Sandoval bekend gemaakt dat hij samen met Oscar Garcia en Jesse Pintado (Napalm Death, Lock Up) plannen heeft om later dit jaar de studio in te duiken om een nieuw Terrorizer-album op te nemen.
Daarnaast gaat hij ook een instructie-video uitbrengen waarin hij demonstreert hoe hij een aantal Morbid Angel-nummers speelt.
Maar zoals de Morbid Angel-website standaard vermeld: “If you don’t see it posted here, consider it a rumor and nothing more!”, dus laten we het dan ook maar beschouwen als een gerucht.
