Nieuw album Godsmack – Faceless
Het album dat Godsmack op dit moment aan het opnemen is in The Hit
Factory/Criteria studios in Miami zal de titel Faceless dragen
en in Maart uitkomen.
Sully Erna heeft er zelf het volgende over te zeggen: “I think
this is going to be a nice extension of the last two records. This
shows a lot more maturity, and the songs are a lot more colorful.
It’s still tough and it bites down and it means business. People
definitely aren’t going to say that we’re sold out or pussed out on
this record. It’s pretty aggressive, but it’s very melodic and
that’s what I like about it. I think it’s going to help us grow to
another level.“

Over de titel wilde Erna het volgende nog kwijt: “Besides what the song is about, it’s kind of where the
band sits right now. We’ve never been quite been a part
of the MTV culture. They accept us to a certain degree, but we’re
not in there with the PINKs and the KID ROCKs. So, to a certain
degree this band is kind of faceless — we’re always flying under
the radar.“
