Nieuwe zanger voor Sun Caged

Voor het eerst sinds Joost en André de band eerder dit jaar verlieten is Sun Caged weer compleet. De nieuwe zanger heet Paul Adrian Villarreal en woont op dit moment nog in Amerika. Echter zal hij binnekort gaan verhuizen naar Europa. Op dit moment schrijft de band alweer voor haar volgende album dat ergens in 2005 opgenomen zal gaan worden.

Nieuwe zanger voor Sun Caged
De heren van Sun Caged maakten vandaag bekend dat zanger
Sascha Burchardt vervangen zal worden door Andre Vuurboom.
Hieronder het statement van Sun Caged:
Sun Caged announces that as of May 1st 2002, vocalist Sascha Burchardt will
be replaced by Andre Vuurboom.
Burchardt recently communicated his departure to the rest of the band.
Sascha is a person to whom singing is no more than a hobby. Sun Caged is
receiving an overwhelming amount of interest at them moment, and this seems
to only grow bigger every day. The band have a very full touring schedule
which did not match Sascha’s desires of being part of a band.
Burchardt offered to stay with the band as long as may be necessary.
The band contacted vocalist Andre Vuurboom (previously of Jera and Imperium)
who was interested immediately. Burchardt played a big part in getting both
parties in contact with each other and has been guiding Andre since his
engagement.
Burchardt’s last show with Sun Caged will be on April 28th 2002 in De
Azijnfabriek in Roermond. Vuurboom’s first show will be on May 3rd 2002 at
Hollywood Hardrock, Fredericia, Denmark.
The band are saddened by the departure of their very good friend and
exclusive band-entertainer Burchardt, but are excited about starting to work
with the very experienenced Vuurboom at the same time.
The band will enter the SAE studios in Amsterdam in late May and will record
2 new songs with Vuurboom.
