Nieuw album van The Haunted [update]
Update (06-09-2006)
Het nieuwe album zal in drie versies op de markt gebracht worden. Naast de gewone cd versie zal er ook een limited edition met bonus dvd worden uitgebracht. Op deze bonus dvd zullen onder andere twee audio bonus songs staan en een making of, videoclips en twee live nummers. Ook aan de vinylverzamelaar is gedacht want het album wordt ook op lp uitgebracht.

Nog meer van het aankomende album The Dead Eye is vrijgegeven. Zo is op deze site een sample te vinden genaamd The Medication. De hoes van de cd komt er zo uit te zien:

The Haunted komt binnenkort met een nieuw album. Hij gaat The Dead Eye heten en komt uit op 30 oktober.
Gitarist Anders Björler over het nieuwe album.
“I just got the final master from Tue Madsen (our producer) with all the tracks in the final order, and it simply sounds
killer. Completing “The Dead Eye” basically took all spring, starting with some rehearsing and pre-production early January.
We left the Antfarm studio in early June a bit perplexed but with a sense of having created something very strong and
powerful. You always feel a bit weird after a recording session. It’s hard to distance yourself from your work, but this time
we all felt that we had accomplished something out of the ordinary. Working with Tue Madsen as engineer/producer has been
great, and it surely reflects on the album. Tue has the same kind of musical background as all of us, so it was pretty easy
to communicate ideas and to explain our vision.”
