Shane Embury (Brujeria, Napalm Death), Russ Russell (At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir, Napalm Death) en Dirk Verbeuren (Aborted, Megadeth, Soilwork) besloten om enkele jaren geleden de muzikale handen in elkaar te slaan. Zo ontstond niet veel later de nieuwe dark-metal-formatie Tronos. Uit het debuutalbum Celestial Mechanics, dat verkrijgbaar is vanaf 12 april aanstaande, laat de band nu een eerste voorsmaakje los op het grote publiek via het nummer Birth Womb.
