Cruachan update
Het Ierse Cruachan heeft de productie van hun vierde album,
getiteld "Pagan", afgerond. De band heeft 15 nummers opgenomen, waarvan er 13 op
het nieuwe album komen te staan. De overgebleven nummers zullen als
bonusmateriaal gebruikt gaan worden.

Frontman Keith Fay:
"The songs on our new
album are certainly the best that I have written, they vary from gritty, intense
pagan metal, such as on the title track "Pagan" to mellow, atmospheric ballads
such as "The Gael" which continues the story of "Death of a Gael". The sound on
the album is very raw when compared to FolkLore or The Middle Kingdom, some
early reviews have likened the feel of the album to that of "Tuatha na Gael".
"Pagan" is opgenomen en gemixed in de Radio Na Life Studio’s in Dublin onder
leiding van producer Al Cowen. Het artwork word verzorgd door John Howe die aan
de Lord of the Ring films heeft meegwerkt en de hoofdillustrator was van JRR
Tolkien. Het album zal begin maart uitkomen via Karmageddon Media
