Godverdomme zeg! Wat is er met dit label? Niet alleen brachten ze Hooded Menace, Acid Witch en Crypticus uit, ook deze plaat zag het daglicht in 2008. Decripitaph speel old school death metal, voor old school people. En hoe!

Milledju zeg. Een vettiger sound heb ik in tijden niet gehoord! Denk het nummer All That Remains op Realm of Chaos van Bolt Thrower, inclusief het slome tempo. Op de ganse plaat vind je trouwens veel doom terug. True Old School Death Metal: Primitive and Putrid!! NO Gravity Blasting – NO Breakdowns – NO Slam – NO Pig Squeals – NO Modern DM Influences – NO Drum Triggers – NO Overpolished Production. NO Fucking Trends!!! En zo klinkt het ook. Net als de archaïsche cover die volledig in het plaatje past. Als je je ei kwijt kunt bij Despiced Icon of Meshuggah, dan zou ik dit overslaan. Mensen die op tram drie of vier meerijden moeten naar de MySpace.

Primitieve death metal die toch heel wat losmaakt bij mij. Een nieuwe tip uit de oude doos lijkt het wel. Razorback heeft het har(d)(t) op de juiste plaats. Check this ou(d)(t)!
