The Year of our Lord split-up
De Amerikaanse melodic death/black band The Year of our Lord heeft op haar website bekendgemaakt gestopt te zijn. Hieronder het officiële statement van de band.
With regrets we’d like to announce that after nearly 6 years, The Year Of Our Lord has come to an end. There has been (and always will be) a lot of good stories, a lot of good booze, and a lot of good music. All we can really say is that we’ve had a fuckin great time doing this over the past few years.
Thanks go out to the fans in the Northeast. This area is a good place to play music and you’ve made it enjoyable. To the European fanbase and those that have contacted us from more obscure areas across the world. To all the bands we’ve played with throughout the years including ones from way back when. To anybody that has given us shows and/or helped us out at any point in our existence. And last but not least, to everyone who has dug the music and the band at any point in time. It’s been emotional.
Keep an eye out for Colins band Frozen, Nick Kyte’s band Kayo Dot as well as any and all future projects by remaining and past members.
