Er ligt weer een nieuw collector’s item voor de roadrunnerverzamelcdverzamelaars (leuk woord voor diverse woordspelen) in de winkels. Ditmaal betreft het de tweede editie van MTV2 Headbanger’s Ball. Ooit ook een succes op tv in Nederland, maar helaas niet meer op de buis hier. In Amerika wel, en daar is Headbanger’s Ball uiteraard een flink succes. Hatebreed zanger Jamey Jasta presenteert het programma aldaar.

Op deze 2CD staan naast de grote namen, met nummers die je veelal op meerdere recente verzamelaars terugvindt, ook opkomende bandjes. Een mooi overzicht van metal anno 2004, aangezien elk genre wel aan bod komt. Een leuk cdtje voor op je 18e verjaardag metalfeestje, maar eigenlijk zitten we allemaal meer te wachten op de terugkeer van Headbanger’s Ball op de Nederlandse tv, dan op nog een verzamelcd als deze.
