On the official website of Thorns of the Carrion Allen Scott announced that the band will no longer be active. Vocalist guitarist Marquis Thomas decided to discontinue the band. As such the already completely written 2nd album ‘The shadow Maque’ will never be recorded, nor will the half finished demo ‘The Naked and the Dead’. A true loss to the doom community.
