Line up wisseling The Lucifer Principle
Het is een tijd van komen en gaan. Ook bij The Lucifer Principle. Bassist Mike verlaat de stal en wordt vervangen door ene Sander.
The Times They Are A-Changin…
Hell yeah, they are!
Some bloke called Bob Dylan told us this a few decades ago. For the LUCIFER PRINCIPLE this statement is coming to life right now.
After 5 years of writing, retuning, detuning, recording, doing promo, travelling in a van with 4 other crazy stomping freaks, Mike has decided that the time has come to move on. As one of the initiators of THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE, Mike not only brought something new to the table (playing a Stand-up Bass), but also provided a steady and intense live performance as well.
We wish Mike all the best for the future, and thank him for the great times we had on the road. You will always stay a part of the monster we’ve created!
At this moment we’re rehearsing songs with our new bass player Sander Keuls. Sander is the personification of death ’n roll itself, we couldn’t wish for a better substitute. We wish Sander a hell of ride with THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE.
Besides rehearsing our actual live set we started working on new some idea’s for Album # 3, the songs that are close to completion sound very intense already, we can’t wait to get our asses in the studio to start pre-producing the new songs. We also have some cool surprises lined up for you on the new album…..
Earik, Giedo, Thomas, Mikhail.
THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE
Mike zelf had dit nog te zeggen:
New monster in town!
After being part of THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE for more than 5 years, I felt it was time to move on. It was great to explore our music through my input and output. I would like to thank the remaining TLP members for their vision and friendship.
I’m glad the band already found a perfect replacement in Sander (keep an eye on http://www.myspace.com/tlpmetal, to meet Sander soon!). The band is working on new songs for the third album, have fun guys, kill it for me!
To me this is no goodbye from the scene, my taste in music remains the same, so we’ll meet again during a gig or festival!
Rock on!
Mike
