Rhythm guitarist Alexander “Aku” Kuoppala has left CHILDREN OF BODOM following the band’s appearance at last weekend’s Tuska festival in Helsinki, Finland. Alexander’s departure was mutually agreed upon by all parties, and the remaining members wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors. No appearances are being cancelled or rescheduled as a result of Aku’s departure.
CHILDREN OF BODOM will announce a replacement for Kuoppala prior to the group’s next live appearance, which is scheduled to take place on August 16 in Moscow, Russia.
