    Surtur Rising, zo zal het nieuwe album van Amon Amarth heten. De opvolger voor Twilight of the Thunder God zal op 29 maart worden uitgebracht via Metal Blade.

    Frontman Johan Hegg wist het volgende te vertellen over het nieuwe album: “Obviously, the songs are going to be AMON AMARTH — that’s what we’ve always done — but we wanted to put a little more edge to our sound, so hopefully that’s going to come out after the mixing and everything. We’ve laid down ten tracks, and as is usual for us, every one of them is going to end up on the album.”
