Tracklist Criminal – Sicario bekend
Op 5 september aanstaande zal de nieuwe cd van de zuid-amerikaanse thrash formatie Criminal uitgebracht worden door Metal Blade Records. Het album, getiteld “Sicario”, is in mei opgenomen in Andy Classen’s Stage One Studio. De titel “Sicario” is het Spaanse woord voor huurmoordenaar, en wordt geassocieerd met de zuid-amerikaanse maffia en drugshandel.
De bonustrack op de cd, “Self Destruction”, is een heropname van het nummer wat oorspronkelijk al op het debuutalbum “Victimized” stond.
Zanger/gitarist Anton Reisenegger: “It’s brutal, in-your-face thrash metal. I think in a time when everyone and their mother are trying to sound like At The Gates or In Flames, this is definitely going to turn some heads. I see it as being in the tradition of bands like Slayer, Sepultura, Machine Head, and Carcass, with massive riffs, very cool solos, and totally pissed-off vocals. Not to mention Zac’s insane drum work. Wait and hear for yourself!”
