Het eerste album van Hate verscheen ruim drieëntwintig jaar geleden onder de titel Daemon Qui Fecit Terram. En evenveel tijd later treedt de Poolse deathmetalband opnieuw in de spotlights, want op veertien juni aanstaande verschijnt het inmiddels elfde studiowerk Auric Gates of Veles. Naast zowel artwork als trackinglist hebben de leden nu ook een eerste single hieruit prijsgegeven: Sovereign Sanctity.
Frontman Adam Buszko geeft voor meer tekst en uitleg:
“We wanted to go deeper into the subject, both musically and lyrically. We also wanted to record a sharper and better defined rhythm section, a more death metal-oriented one. When it comes to guitar sound, it was meant to be a wall of sonic destruction with dark ambient elements in the background.”
