Eind vorige maand voegden de organisatoren van Under The Black Sun het Poolse Mgła aan de line-up toe. De groep uit Krakau is meteen ook de laatste bekendmaking voor de blackmetaldriedaagse. De eindstand voor Under The Black Sun 2020 ziet er als volgt uit:
“It’s a new year but no new bands to be announced. No folks, the line up is now complete since we revealed last week that Mgła will be added to the line-up for Under The Black Sun 2020. Now it’s time to plan the running order and all of the other shit. And of course, to spread the plague like hell.”

Het in sneltempo aan populariteit winnende Mgła, vormt de nieuwste aanwinst voor Under The Black Sun 2020. De Poolse groep treedt in Brandenburg samen aan met onder andere Naglfar, Desaster en Ancient Rites.

De nieuwste toevoeging aan de line-up van Under The Black Sun 2020 komt uit Rusland. Pseudogod, afkomstig uit het deelgebied kraj Perm, zakt volgende zomer naar het blackmetalfestival af.
“A roaring inferno will come raging toward the Under the Black Sun Festival in 2020, Russian Steel will dominate our stage. None other than the mighty Pseudogod from Russia!”

De organisatoren van Under The Black Sun zoeken het deze keer in eigen land. De Duitse blackmetalgroep Kâhld is namelijk de nieuwste toevoeging aan de line-up.
“Conditions, circumstances and the constellation of the world, mankind and our inner self are the breeding ground for the works of Kâhld. Instead of dwelling in sorrow, Kâhld exclaim their disgust against the essence of selfish human behaviour. Welcome at Under The Black Sun 2020!”

Het Duitse festival Under The Black Sun pakt uit met een nieuwe naam voor 2020. De blackmetalgroep Moribund Oblivion, uit Turkije nota bene, vormt de meest recente toevoeging aan de line-up.

De nieuwste toevoeging aan de affiche van Under The Black Sun 2020 luistert naar de naam Satan Worship. De Braziliaans-Duitse groep zakt volgende zomer naar de deelstaat Brandenburg af.

De Duitse blackmetalgroep Nornír is de nieuwste toevoeging aan de line-up van Under The Black Sun. Het combo uit de Vrijstaat Saksen speelt dus komende zomer een thuiswedstrijd.
“Having released their full length Verdandi in early 2019, Nornír will conquer Under the Black Sun Festival for the very first time. Black Metal in old Scandinavian tradition!”

Met het vrijgeven van een nieuwe naam, kleurt de affiche van Under The Black Sun een tint zwarter. Het Duitse Goath is de meest recente toevoeging aan de line-up.
“Founded in 2015, the band will present their brutal mix of black- and old school death metal. Goath will perform for the first time at the Under The Black Sun festival. The third full length album will be recorded in the end of 2019. Expect hell on earth!”

De nieuwste toevoeging aan de line-up van Under The Black Sun komt uit Polen. In Twilight’s Embrace, oorspronkelijk opgericht onder de naam Over The Edge, staat volgende zomer op het podium in Brandenburg.
“In Twilight’s Embrace has blown me away with their psychedelic black metal at their performance at De Mortem Et Diabolum last year. Time to come back to Germany and to play Under The Black Sun this time. Band 2 of 4 from Poland!”

Het Duitse Total Hate bestaat volgend jaar twee decennia. De blackmetalgroep viert dit jubileum op het podium van Under The Black Sun.
“The 90’s inspired black metal band returns 15 years after the first Total Hate show ever, which took place at the utbs festival in 2005. the band celebrates their 20th anniversary next year and the recordings of the 5th full length album will start in early 2020. be prepared for total 90’s black metal worship !!!”

Het Roemeense Sur Austru, de nieuwste toevoeging aan de line-up van Under The Black Sun, zal slechts bij enkelen bekend in de oren klinken. De muzikanten Ovidiu Corodan, Petrică Ionuţescu en Tibor Kati, allen voorheen actief bij Negură Bunget, zijn nochtans geen onbekenden in de scène. Een echte herrijzenis van Negură Bunget mag dan veel gezegd zijn, het komt aardig in de buurt.

De line-up van Under The Black Sun is weer een aantal namen rijker. Het Zwitserse Borgne, Naglfar uit Zweden en de Duitsers van Darkmoon Warrior vervoegen de affiche van het driedaagse festival.

Het blackmetalfestival Under The Black Sun kleurt de zon twee tinten donkerder. Zowel het Duitse Sarkrista als Frostmoon Eclipse uit Italië werden aan de line-up toegevoegd.

Het mag dan nog bijna een jaar wachten zijn tot de volgende editie van Under The Black Sun, dit belet de organisatoren er niet van om geregeld nieuwe namen te lossen.
Het Duitse Desaster is de meest recente toevoeging aan de line-up. Ook onder meer Ancient Rites, Endezzma, Demonical en Arkona bevestigden reeds hun komst naar de Duitse deelstaat Brandenburg. Dit geeft de volgende tussenstand:
De drieëntwintigste editie van Under The Black Sun gaat door van donderdag 2 tot en met zaterdag 4 juli 2020. De early birds zijn al geruime tijd uitgeput, reguliere combitickets zijn wel nog voorhanden.
